and at _that_, Costello lasted longer than Holding the Baby..........Fox used to keep crappy shows on the air too long, now they yank 'em so fast you wonder why they even bother puttin' 'em on at all.....FOX marches on! like i've said, they should stick to cartoons...i mean, compare The Critic to Costello.....as failures go, i'll take Manhatten! ( if Desmond Pfeiffer was a FOX show, there'ed be no problem, would there? that stinkbomb would be gone with the wind by now.........)

I actually liked Holding the Baby better. Costello was boring! It was so cliche. If they only wanted one half of Laverne and Shirley they could have at least admitted it.

Now the Critic... there is an underrated show!

it looks like i was mistaken.......the LA Times said today that Costello was the first cancellation of the season. i guess they've just pulled Baby until they can figure out what to do with it..... or have i just been missing it? shows hop around the schedule like jumpin' beans these days........
