There were many good lines (as usual) in this episode, but I was uncomfortable with the subject content in general (guns). Sorry, but I'm not a gun fan. I'm sure I'll enjoy next week's episode about the Twister much, much more.
Also, was it me or did the characters seem to be drawn in just a slightly different way in this episode (especially Hank)?

I'm not that comfortable with the subject matter either. But i'm sure it's a regional thing. In Texas you have guns. Here in Connecticut you have golf clubs. Both are weapons, both are made of metal (and wood) and both are slightly phallic.

Your milage may vary. But as I was saying in response to another post, you cannot do a show about Texas life style as King of the Hill, and not expect to touch upon the gun culture. This show did something important that other shows on the air did not, it stress gun safety. The character who lost both his thumb and eye is the prime example of how not to operate a gun. He even run to the middle of a range, in the firerange of several rifles.
If you are worry about a kid drowning, don't just go around and say pools are evil, teach the kids how to swim. If you want to have kids to be safe around the guns, teach them safety first.

I agree. But I'm one of those "whackos" (to quote another poster on the list) that agrees with gun control and I'm not going to apologize for that.
Look, I don't have to like every single episode of KOTH. This will probably be my least favorite one of the year. But just because I didn't care for the subject content of THIS one doesn't mean I'm going to be like that "repeat" poster/flamer and stop watching altogether. That's idiotic.
