Who cares about baseball

I've read several posts here in the last couple of days talking about how "un-American" and silly it is that we are whining about KOTH being preempted for a baseball game. Well it may be silly and un-American, but to me baseball is just about the most boring sport on the face of the planet. I would rather have a root canal without anesthesia than have to sit through a three hour baseball game. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind watching a three hour KOTH marathon anytime.

And by the way, just to add insult to injury, I found something else to watch after Fox starting showing the game; wouldn't you just know that at the most important part of that show, McGwire hit his home run and that show was interrupted too. There is no justice in this world.

Its not like KOTH has been preempted for something like this ever before or this is setting up some kind of precendent. How often does something like this happen?

Everyone wanted a piece of it, that's true.

It's a mute point anyway. We know from next weeks TV guide that Hank isn't the victim. It will probabaly be Buckley (I'm basing that on the "Star Trek extra redshirt in the landing party theory).

I still say why doesn't FOX schedule a baseball game for Next tuesday night. And then preempt it for KOTH. Then we're all even!

how often does that happen? well now a days the anwser will be every year or every 2 years. this record is not gonna stick for 36 years. And what importance? When Paul molitare(mind the spelling) got the 3 000 hit thing, that had importance to alot of people. so did the Roger Clemans strike outs(the one he just beat) the only diffrence is it was hiped up. A man took pills then picked up a branch and used his arms to turn in a proper way. If he does this right, he will smack some yarn in a cow's skin about 200 to 400 feet in various directions, then he will run in a diamond shape circle until he gets to the same place he started. If people hipe it up he will get paper with dead old people on it. The more pills he takes the more dead people he gets. And the branch and yarn in cow skin will go to a room with a bunch of other branches. when you spell it out it is really worth canceling tuesday night until the cows come home.

So put BBall on FOX SPORTS channel and leave the regular channels for the NORMAL programming. If somebody HAS to watch BBall, they will subscribe to the cable channels and watch.

Same for Fball, Hockey, tennis, golf, etc...

Or run KOTH on ESPN!

You have to drink 8 beers before any sudden moves. If you say yup at the right moment you win 50 points. The only timeouts are when Bobby eats a toothpick or peggy has to have a talk (this can lead to a penalty if Bobby is involved). All lawn moers must be a ride moer(john deer aproved). you can get kicked out of the game for using Gas or oil on any stove, moer or BBQ, must be Propane powered. The game is over when the beer supply runs out or gets dark. Teaxen's only.
