Bill Dauterive, Charlie Brown, and Edgar Allan Poe

I thought that Christmas episode was great. I'm a sucker for any episode that revolves around Bill.

I think that Bill's my favorite KOTH character...he reminds me of a grown up Charlie Brown.

That 7 year old Christmas tree of Bill's has got to be even more pathetic than Charlie Browns's tree from 'a Charlie Brown Christmas.' I never thought that could be possible.

And poor Bill--I think he pines for his lost love Lenore....more than Edgar Allan Poe did in his poem 'The Raven.'

More beer than books, though; but you know how that interferes with the toe-fungus medication. Poor Bill. Maybe Leanne will come back for a visit. Maybe Bill and Luanne will open a beauty shop after he retires from the Army.

My friggin' tape ran out as i was taping that episode. How did it end? I saw up to the part when Peggy was talking to Lenore on the phone (or was she?) at the party.

Any help will be appreciated.
