Probably been mentioned before, but this is the first time I've seen main characters from two different television shows have the exact same name. I thought they always checked for those kind of things....can't believe they would miss it....maybe it was on purpose? Nahhh....

I thought so too. Isn't that why people on soaps have names like India and Spear? Maybe "they" think that the people who'll be watching King of the Hill are too young to remember Bobby Hill, and J.D. LaRue and all the others. Incidently I had the same question when Liar,Liar came out. Fletcher Reade has been a character on the Guiding Light for years.
Before there was a Johnny LaRue on Hill Street Blues, John Candy played a Johnny LaRue on SCTV...
