Why the hell does Malcolm in the Middle get a first season DVD boxed set in the US without going through all this syndication rigamorale ? Dammit.

Also CN has the Cable syndication rights to Futurama. There are also Broadcast Syndication rights as well.

You have to admit, Malcom in the middle was a really original show when it started. Now "the grubs" seem to able to say "crap" more times in a commercial then an entire season of futurama ever did.

I love its lack of a laugh track. It's amazing for a sitcom to trust itself to be funny enough for its audience to know when to laugh *all by itself*.

While no laugh track is always a good quality in a comedy series. The only other thing I find endearing about the show is that it uses They Might Be Giants music occasionaly (or at least it did when I used to watch it.) and that's always a good thing.

DVD of Alias coming soon too. I wouldn't take bets on Alias surviving this season (which is a pity).
