Personally i would be more interested in an eD2k link to the 200mb-ish mpeg version. There's a divx on the move on ed2k but i prefer the mpeg.

See, the problem is, I don't know what ed2k means really. I'm not exactly totally computer literate. I know mpeg and divx, and Kazaa, but you lost me with the ed stuff.

when you burn the VCD with 3 episodes on it, as usual, can't your let Nero re-encode the 400mb version to VCD format? In theory that should work fine... Haven't tried it yet though, i'm waiting for the covers...

My reason for downloading the MPEGs is that DivX's have crappy video quality, and i really wouldn't want to wait for the MPEG2 versions..

I'm not burning them, HD space is cheaper per megabyte than CD-R's. :)

Maybe it does where you live. ;) In Finland, where i live, HD space is cheaper, due to big royalties (piracy-related) in CD-R prices.

A megabyte on CDR (i use strictly TDK 80min silver and i buy them with cases) costs 0.013e, a megabyte on a 120gb HD drive is worth 0.01e. :D

Not really. The associations that receive the roalties distribute them 50/50 to musicians (Gramex-fees) and record companies (Teosto-fees).

But under the currrent law i can download anything from the net (except for kiddyporn) and burn it onto what ever i want. But i am not allowed to redistribute it to anyone else.

Funny how Teosto carefully avoids using the word 'record company', they use the name 'music publisher'. :) I guess in these days of singer-songwriters and alternate-whatnot the word has a bad ring to it. :)

DivX's video quality rules! At a megabyte to megabyte comparison, it tends to have less compression artifacts than an MPEG in my experience.

I think most are pulled from the affiliate satellite feed FOX sends out the day before. Anyone with a Big dish and the coordinates can catch them early with no commercials and the original credits.
