Am I the only one that thinks Futurama is *improving*?

The first two were kinda weak, but that was to be expected, now that I can see what happened: they wanted to introduce the story and characters.

But these last two episodes were awesome!

I agree. The last two episodes were much better. I liked the first ones, but I know a lot of people thought they were dumb--they just don't understand how a show, especially a show like "Futurama," starts. I mean, it's not like other shows where the characters are all living comfortably when you first meet them. This show had to first uproot Fry, then have him start his life ALL OVER again. I think some people just don't have the patience. Too bad for them.

The premise for this last episode (the one with Zapp Brannigan) was a little weak, but they executed it well. When I read the synopsis in the TV section of the paper I thought it sounded dumb. The writers really took a cutesy little plot and made it more sophisticated. I LOVED the scene in "The Hip Joint"--I was laughing my head off at the part about the rings! That was so funny!
