Does anyone know if Comedy Central is planning to split the new batch of 26 episodes into two seasons of 13 episodes or just run them as a single season of 26 episodes?
I'm curious to know if there are only going to be 5 more new episodes, then a hiatus of many months, and then the remaining 13 episodes or whether they will just keep airing one a week until the whole batch of 26 is done?
Also, do we have any information on whether Futurama has been renewed beyond the current 26 episode order? [Shows sometimes get renewed very early in their seasons if the ratings are good or even when they're not: Treme got renewed the day after the first episode aired even though the ratings were fairly modest. Rizzoli and Isles got renewed after only 3 episodes were aired because the ratings were so high. Glee got its second season halfway through its first season and has already been renewed for its THIRD season.]
Lastly, do we know when the next boxed set of Futurama episodes will be available?
I'm sorry if any of this information is common knowledge; I'm not seeing any of the answers on the Futurama page of Wikipedia so I thought I'd try here next....
