Futurama RPG's

I'm looking for a fairly active, humourous Futurama RPG but my search engine has retrieved nought, anyone know where I can find one and if not, who would be interested in helping me set one up?

By "RPG" do you mean MUD?

I don't. But now, my question becomes: what do you mean by "active"? Like, a game that's in constant development, or a game that requires you to physically run around the room? That's what confused me before.

Now I'm confused again. RPGs aren't usually "on the internet" at all.

Yes they are. In addition to MUSH and MUD there are Play By E-Mail (PBEM) and Chat room RPG. And of course the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online RPG) (Ultima Online)

Well, he ruled out MUDs (and I assume by association MUSHes and MMORPGs). I guess that leaves the chat room or pbem thing, but that's not the *usual* form of an RPG -- it's the kind of thing you might mention if you mean it. I'm not arguing, just confused.

As an RPG fan for 10+ years and a MUDder for about the same length of time, I have no idea what he's talking about either. I don't even see how that would work.

You can simply play table top in a chat room and assume nobody is cheating. and there are also play by email which works like a mailing list. Although PBEM is more like a creative writing assignment then a direct RPG. You basicaly write your characters side of the story then the gm/moderator compiles everything togeather into a coherrent story. It's very slow and not that fullfilling.

OH!!!!! You're talking about the original-style RPG, as a game played between people, and I think the rest of us were thinking you meant RPG computer games like Final Fantasy or such.

I thought he meant a "traditional" in-person RPG. Hence the confusion about "active" and "on the internet".
