a reference to Professor Frink declaring that
from now on, "pi" will be exactly three.
(And don't tell me that it was obvious, because it wasn't, it was very subtle and clever. . . .)

Um.. i really don't think that had anything at all to do with the Simpsons. It was a spoof on 3-in-1 oil, i believe

He just said that to get everyone's attention of a bunch of rowdy scientists so they would pay attention to Lisa's findings about nerd sweat. He doesn't really believe pi is 3.
