10/5 - yet another NFL Football doubleheader; the west will not get
an episode, as a baseball Division Series game will be on at
that time (unless all four division series end before Sunday,
in which case Fox is planning to air the movie "Vertical
Limit")10/12 - if the American League Championship Series does not in four
games, Fox will air that series's Game 4 starting at about
4:30 Eastern (following an NFL game); however, if the ALCS
ends in four, there are no 4:15 NFL games scheduled that day,
so there is a slim chance an episode would air (although Fox
could air an episode of something else, like "The Simpsons",
instead)10/19 - yet still another NFL Football doubleheader; the west will
not get an episode, as World Series Game 2 will be on at
that timeIf the World Series does not last seven games (and if it is not extended to 10/26 because of a rainout), 10/26 is not a Fox NFL doubleheader, so they could show an episode that day, although in the past, Fox has aired the previous year's Simpsons Halloween Special at 7:00 the Sunday before Halloween.
Then again, Fox still hasn't announced when Oliver Beene will begin in the Sunday 7:00 time slot, so who knows...(then AGAIN again, if Cartoon Network has announced that new episodes will air in November, then Fox must have sold the rights)
