Err...I like Futurama and all, but...

...that new episode on FOX tonite kinda sucked.

Oh well. I suppose I should just be glad that it was shown at all. Here's hoping "Teenage Mutant Leela" is better. Much better.

yeah for tonight's shows I rank them KOTH, Simpsons, and then Futurama. I liked all the episodes, but I just did not have an easy time getting into Futurama as I did on the other two shows. Still any new episode of Futurama is a good thing.

I mean King John is roundly considered one of Shakespeare's worst, and yet it was written years before Hamlet, Othello, A Midsummer's Night's Dream, etc... And lets just remember that Fox doesnt even show Futurama episodes in production order, so many of the recent episodes that some people say sucked are actually airing a year or more later than they should have, sometimes a dozen or so episodes out of order. Compared to some others we've seen recently "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" is one of the MOST recent episodes, production order-wise. However, the 10 episodes yet to air actually ARE the final ten episodes.

It's been a little more than a year since "A Tale of Two Santas" first aired, for example. But I still cant get over the fact that the episode is actually more than two years old!

Anyway, Fox sucks.

I don't know if anyone has an opinion on this or not ;-), but I don't think the superhero episode was up to the usual standard. It fails my test, that even an episode that you *remember* as bad is much better when you see it again.

It just seemed to me that the Batman allusions had been done to death by others -- they were tired and had nothing new. The sub-plot of Leela's parents was... it was "eh."

I love Futurama, wish it hadn't been cancelled, hope that there will be a movie. But evey show has its bad episodes. Spock's Brain. The Rules of Luton. Terrorform. And every single episode of Farscape.

I didn't watch yesterday episode, so I can't say if the episode was bad or not of course Futurama have its own bad episodes like all tv series have btw I wouldn't say such things as "I'm glad Futurama is cancelled" a bad episode doesn't make an entire serie a bad serie :-( and, above all, Futurama doesn't deserve to die
