Except that it is not yet the 31st century. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the future part of the show start approximately 29 December 2999 and go into the first few weeks of January and February 3000? That is still the 30th century, and will be for another ten and a half months. Even the outro shows "30th Century Fox."
