I am not that familiar with the USA cable network. What does it mean if cnn writes "Executives at producer 20th Century Fox TV have already had early talks about launching the show in syndication, though no deals are close."
What happens if the show lanches in syndication?

Some shows are so expensive they can't turn a profit in prime time but if they go to syndication they do.

Plus, parts of the show are all hacked up for extra commercials and in all likelihood, the opening title sequence will be abbreviated. This is why I virtually never watch reruns of even the best current or recent series.

And we might actually get the DVD set here in the US after a full showing in syndication. At least, that's how I understand it.
I got my import UK set yesterday btw. I've only watched a little bit, but it seems like a very cool set. I thought we had a lot of warnings on Region 1 DVDs here in the US. Man, there are copyright and export (heheh) warnings for several different contries before you actually get to the content. Sheesh!
