It says its season1 - which is primarily correct, but according to episode guides I read on http://www.gotfuturama.com/ season1 ends with the episode 'Hell is other robots' but the boxset has 4 episodes of season2, 'A Flight to Remember', 'Mars University', 'When Aliens Attack' and 'Fry and the Slurm Factory'! I wonder why that is?
Heres an interesting one concerning the region2 season1 DVD boxset...

The real Season 1 had nine episodes, 1ACV01 to 1ACV09. But four more were produced for Season 1, which were shown in season 2, 1ACV10-1ACV13. The DVD set includes all 1ACVxx episodes.

You can sort the episode guide on gotfuturama by production season, too. http://www.gotfuturama.com/Information/EpisodeGuide/1ACV/ gives you the 13 episodes which are on the Season 1 DVDs (which seem to be region 4 Australia/NZ), too btw).

As ppl already mentioned the episodes we episode guide ppl are referring to as one season originate from the order the episodes have been aired in by Fox (man, this seems to be some kind of literal German-to-English translation, hope you can male something out of it).
IOW:
- we list seasons by airdate
- Fox lists seasons (and puts them on DVD) by production code
So all 1ACVxx belong to season 1, all 2ACVxx to season 2 and so on. I haven't yet bothered to mention this on my page, cause I got kinda lazy working on a legend. Gonna be up soon though...
