Is there a new episode on tonight? It didn't say anything about it in T.V. Guide. I need to know because I'll be gone later and I don't know whether or not to set the V.C.R. Thanks in advance.

I know it's for a specific cable company, and a specific area of the country, but it's truly invaluable. You can set up your own "personal search," and it will send you a reminder email every week with a description of the show you asked to be reminded of...including whether it's a rerun or not.
