I know many in the east are upset about Football and this Joke of an election interrupting all or part of Futurama tonight. But I believe the real insult tonight is the fact that (at least on my affiliate) They did the one thing they refuse to do for Futurama and that is to displace the line up for KOTH, "The Simpsons", And MITM so they all could be viewed in their entirety. I find this double standard in regards to Futurama Distasteful, and Disgusting. Not to mention a slap in the face of Matt Groening. Who all but saved a floundering 1/2 network from demise with "The Simpsons". And who now has to watch as week after week, Futurama's ratings plunge to new lows because of FOX's careless mistreatment of the independently controlled show in their otherwise corporately owned Sunday lineup. FOX has now set a new precedent in showing that their only willing to bend for the shows they personally own, and have little to no compassion what so ever for independent contract shows.

Not sure what the unborn thought is saying, but we haven't suffered any sports preemptions on either of the two new episodes of Futurama this season where I live in eastern PA. I do think all the reruns were preempted in part or completely, but tonight I spent the 5 minutes leading up to Futurama watching some blonde figure skater's ass under her 2-inch skirt while awaiting what up until the last 5 minutes of the subsequent half hour was regularly scheduled programming.

Same thing in DC. Report interrupts end of Futurama (with clever timing). KOTH starts "already in progress". No time-shifting.
