Hypnotoad!

Does anyone have a wav file of the noise the hypnotoad made? I thought it was hilarious.

Wasn't that noise from some old-timey video game, Atari maybe? I can't remember which one... anyone? It's a great noise.

That noise was definitely one of the highlights of that episode for me. Nice to see I wasn't the only one who liked it.

I've also heard it in Perfect Dark for the N 64...when they turn a computer on. I'm pretty sure it's a stock noise, because I also have heard it elsewhere, possibly on Heavy Metal 2000

Wouldn't a "real" hypnotoad make no sound because he seems to do everything by that weird pulsating pupil stare. But the sound was a cartoon effect and a darn good one. I'm also thinking of an old Bugs Bunny cartoon with a hypnosis plot that used a sparks lumping across an air gap sound for hypnosis. BTW- what ever happened to Futurama's "Mass Hypnosis Hour" that Groening use to talk about.

BTW, hypnosis is something British TV is *very* anal about. They will not show actual hypnosis taking place, no matter *what* time of day or night a program airs.

This doesn't bar them from showing the usual clich�s - shiny watches being waved about etc, though.

Hypnotoad was the FUNNIEST thing I've seen on Futurama! When the last sheep closed the gate behind himself and then Hypnotoad zapped the judges, and people were clapping like robots.... HAHAHAHAHA! Classic!

Does anyone else thought "Dnarri" at the sight of a HypnoToad?

Ahem, HypnoToad must've looked at me while I wrote that. What I meant to say is - did anyone else think of Dnyarri at a sight of the HypnoToad? Any Star Control 2 fans out there?
