I know it's a bit late, but I only saw the RealVideo file last weekend. When they were at the 'light dinner' on Zap's ship, the sign above them had the letters 'doop', obviously standing for the 'Democratic order of planets', but the way it was written is exactly the same way as that really annoying tune from a couple of years ago called doop, by a bunch of people calling themselves doop.
Perhaps there's some other significance to it, but it's probably just a coincidence and therefore I'm talking out of my very own meatbag arse.
