TVGuide.com has a preview of all the seasons finales on TV. Some of them, like our beloved Futurama, have snide comments included. Here's what they say about Futurama

Don't get too pissed of about it man. I mean how can anyone trust a publication that thinks Will & Grace deserved to win the Emmy last year.

Some people can't tell a whale from a Jumbo Jet. So how are they supposed to rate TV-Shows? If they can't see, that Futurama is far more Intelligent than they are, they aren't even worth a "kick my shiny metal ass". For me Futurama is the most funny and witty Show of this, the last and the next millenium.

It probably won't be around next millenium. Although a very funny show, I would say that Monty Python's Flying Circus and the short-lived Clerks series were slightly funnier.

TV Guide is the most read periodical in the US. They didn't get that way by expressing opinions that might challenge their readers. They are the definitive "Lowest common denominator". You will rarely see them put down a show that's popular or champion a show that's not. People don't read TV Guide to think, they read it to find out what time a show is on and to have their opinion validated. Note that there comment says nothing at all about the quality of the show. It is merely a reference to it's popularity.

This is the same periodical that puts out issues with four different covers as collectors items. They do this repeatedly because it boost sales. That means there are people who buy all for issues "just to have them.

Undoubtedly, the magazine's publication requires far more time dedicated to data entry than to "journalism".
