Not good, but it doesn't bother me because the pro-Family Guy petition seems to be a failure, which makes me happy. I was in agreement with you until you said that "Family Guy" is better than *anything*. I truly believe in my heart of hearts that "Family Guy" is hands-down the worst example of "entertainment" the world has ever known. "Glutton Bowl", "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire" and "Temptation Island" are all trash, but they're still vastly superior to "Family Guy", which is a complete wasteland of comedy. The ironic thing is that many of the signatures are by people who WANT the show back!

something is really funny, then I create petitions.  So, you know, I need a

(If you haven't been offended by anything, then most of the above still applies. You just replace 'sense of humor' with 'tolerance for shows I, in my personal, no-better-than-anyone-else's opinion, just happen to not like' and voila.)

I can. As bad as any other show is, I truly believe "Family Guy" is a slap in the face to all things comedic. As I said before, the show is the worst TV show ever, in my opinion.

I still maintain that you secretly love the show, or at the least are obsessed about it. Think about it, if the show went off the air, your life would have no meaning.

Myself, I don't care for Family Guy, but I at least don't begrudge others from watching a show that they obviously like/love. I mean, there are many out there who hate Futurama and want it off the screens, and I'd be a damn hypocrite if I told them that the show should stay aired because there are many that like/love the show, while demanding another show that's enjoyed is taken off the air.

My advice: let the baby have its bottle, and go and do something worthwhile with your time. May I suggest selling roses at restaurants.

You got me there. I am obsessed with the mechanics of comedy, and "Family Guy" is fascinating, as it's the perfect example of how bad comedy can be when not done right. You can learn just as much from bad comedy as you can from good comedy.

Let's be realistic here. I really hate "Family Guy" but if my "Family Guy" hatred was a job it'd be part time and I'd be making minimum wage.

Hating "Futurama" is truly a case of people not "getting it". Liking "Family Guy" is a case of stupid "animation fans" who like every animation property to come down the line, regardless of quality. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the show is a blueprint of comedic failure, and the people who like the show are just snowed with the fact that it's animated.
