About Fry....

I was just wondering... Whenever I talk to other people about Fry's character on "Futurama", I get a mixed response. Some people think he's great because of his non-conformism. Other people think he's just a plain, old loser who is aimless and has no goals.

For my own opinion, I think Fry is all right the way he is. But, I wonder whether Fry is beginning to rediscover himself in the year 3000 or is repeating the same path that he was going down in 1999?

Does anyone have an opinion about this?

Yes.

I hope for the longevity of the character and the series as a whole that he stay as a loser for as long as possible. Getting as many storiers as possible out of it before they move on the any serious development of his rediscovery.
