Like The Simpsons said many a time, Fox is evil. Though hopefully the whole mess will make Groening and anyone with talent avoid Fox like the plague from now on.
I found it very disappointing, no real closure, just in case the rumours about Cartoon Network renewing the show are true.

FG is a smidgen unknown isn't it? I know a lot of keen telly viewers & they've still never seen it. I reckon FG is the stronger of the two too. I can watch repeats of FG all day & some episodes of Futurama can seem slightly dulled the 5th time round. Seth really does deserve better. It makes one ponder what happens to the original commisioning person to allow their old project to die so poorly (they were internally promoted to pointlessness?). They both have their own NG though, which can't be said for many programs?
Personally, I watched Family Guy once or twice and thought it uncreative and uninteresting. Oh well.

Not if you tried to play a PAL DVD on an NTSC TV...it doesn't matter what kind of DVD player you have, the picture will still be distorted...American TVs have a framerate of 30 FPS (to coincide with the 60 watt powercycles)...PAL TVs go at 25...you're gonna get some distortion b/c the TV is going to try and figure out what to do with those extra 5 frames every second....

It's listing both as a new episode now, not sure about before. On the TiVo I'd delete the manual recordings that were scheduled as repeats (same for 6.30 Simpsons), but after this week I'll be deleting the 7pm for the last time :(

I thought it ended very abruptly, with no real closure to the series as a whole. Just a run-of-the-mill episode, imo. Not even that funny. Still, I guess they just didn't think it will actually end - and be picked up by another network soon. Let's hope so!
