Season 2 DVD's

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the Season 2 DVD set... The picture quality is very mixed throughout the whole set, with Disc 4 being the worst - it seems Fox has used an extremely strong edge enhancement filter on the image leaving odd looking outlines on all the edges. It's like my beautiful RGB connection has been downgraded to shitty S- Video and sometimes even composite video.

Als, a minor nag, why did Fox switch from Amaray cases (which they used on the S1 set) to these dodgy cases?

I agree about the picture quality of the season 2 DVD's.

The cases of my season 2 DVD's however are the same as my season 1 DVD cases.

I still think the part about the DVDs being 20 fps is incorrect. When I play the DVDs with PowerDVD it clearly says the video is 25 fps. Any other framerate would be very unlikely because 25 fps is the standard for PAL. All PAL DVDs are in 25 fps and I have NEVER seen or heared about any other framerate on a PAL DVD.

Actually it looks to me that the season 2 video looks the way it looks because it was converted from 30 to 25 fps, and not from 25 to 20 fps like the article says. It's just more likely that the source material is 30 fps because the show was made for 30 fps televisions (30 fps = NTSC = TV standard in America).
