So if I have this straight, you asked that your local station to place Futurama on another time slot if Fox won't. Well my UPN station used to show Voyager on Saturday since that show's first season. Maybe you should e-mail them again and tell them that what they should do is tape the show then air it again during an open time slot on the weekend. See this way, if they know how specific you are, they will reconsider.

Can local stations really re-air primetime shows that aren't in syndication?

This happened a lot with UPN's "Voyager", with it airing on stations that were WB or Fox affiliates the rest of the time.

If there's a full-time affiliate, though, forget it. They pretty much have to air what the network says.

So...do we send letters to Beverley Hills, or LA?
