Weird...I just logged in to post the same link. Howard Stern was talking about this site on the radio today, but didn't give the link. I found it on Yahoo witb no trouble.

Anyway, they have a pretty amazing database of characters, albeit with a lot of spelling errors and typos. I managed to successfully find characters from Simpsons, Futurama, Seinfeld, Newhart, Cheers, Malcolm in the Middle, Growing Pains, Three's Company, Night Court (I was only the 2nd person to look up Judge Harry from Night Court?!)...I was just about to try the Dick Van Dyke show.

There's only one questionable entry I found, and it happens to be our good friend Fry from Futurama. They misspelled him Frye, but that's not the main problem. The question, "Are you often seen dating different women?" is programmed in as a "No" for him. I entered "Yes" first, and that ends up leading you down the path to Oscar Madison from the Odd Couple. I figured since Fry has dated his original girlfriend, Amy, the bureacratic lady, the lady from the 21st century from the bar, the crustacean from Zoidberg's home, the mermaid, the amazon women, almost Leela a couple times...that would be a "Yes." Now, I know the database believes that Seinfeld and Jack Tripper date a lot of women. I guess you have to be on that new girlfriend every week level to qualify. But they should definitely change that answer to a "Yes," since their program is set up so incorrect No answers don't affect the outcome, but incorrect "Yes" ones do.

Well, I guess i'd say sitcom, because ST:V is just sooooo funny! Bad acting, pseudo quantum mechanics mumbo-jumbo, it's a hoot! (Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it for these very reasons)
