Futurama is BACK!

I can see Comedy Central putting its $ behind Futurama the way they did for South Park.

This is absolutely AWESOME!!!

I guarantee you Matt and David have had some of these written for some time now.

This seems way too good to be true. I'm not getting all hopeful yet.

But, okay, I'm a little hopeful. The movie-length thing didn't really work out so well -- a lot of stuff got stretched too long, and there were quite a few throw-away gags thrown in just because there was time to do so. Each of the movies would have made one really excellent regular-length episode.

It seems that the best Futurama we all remember from it's first run was the best. When the writers and producers were scrambling to get the next show prepped and ready, under tons of deadline pressure, they gave us GOLD, baby!

With the DVDs, they took their time, and whie I thought most of them were good, it wasn't quite the same.

Put the production company back on a deadline schedule, and I'm sure we'll be getting better shows. Matt and David love this show...the lengths they go to to keep it around blows my mind.

Count my in as a staunch supporter!!!
