Did Channel 4 pull the plug on Futurama as it seemed to stop short just after 11th of September after a new season?
The Channel 4 web site is crap with no general way of posting to the site, what with all the groups being about present series.

Which episode did they show last? We haven't had any new ones since spring and won't until next month. Maybe they ran out!

IIRC it was Anthology of Interest 1, so that seems a logical point to break, being a season-end.

I phoned C4 to ask why they had not transmitted the last 2 episodes of season 2 and was told they had shown all of them. Not true. They substituted episodes from season 1 so 'The Problem with Popplers' and 'Anthology of Interest' were never shown, understandably in the latter case which shows giant Bender and Zoidberg trashing New New York . The only useful thing I got out of them was confirmation that they have bought the rights to season 3. John

I wondered if the graphic with the space ship crashing into one of the buildings was too much at that time?
You just never know with these people.
The series just seemed to pass so quickly this time around.
