4th premiere December 9

First they cancel the second Xmas special and now they bump the 4th season premiere to December 9. I bet dollars to donuts Fox will still bump it for a Connie Chung Christmas.

Hey, at least this prevents most of the football conflicts from last season.

We wouldn't have that problem if they moved it to a decent time slot.

The only two non-'Simpsons' shows to have gotten the Best Animated Series Award in the last five or so years are 'Pinky & the Brain' and 'King of the Hill,' and neither of them benefited much. P&tB was stuck in the WB's 7 PM Sunday slot in 1995-96, and was banished exclusively to Saturday mornings at the end of the season. KotH, two years after its Emmy win, is, as we know, still languidly running in its slightly-less-crummy 7:30 slot, pretty much ignored by the general populace.

Although KotH *IS* apparently entering syndication this year. Now all the KotH fans can watch their favorite episodes without the burden of that extra minute or two that wasn't doing anyone any good anyway...

I agree. It's more likely a sign they don't expect Futurama to reach the 100 episodes needed.

You're assuming that the episodes of KotH in syndication won't be cut to death, like what happens to the majority of Simpsons episodes in syndication.
