When replying to this message, put an 'F' in the subject line. The next person to reply put an 'U'
And so on until we've spelt 'FUTURAMA'

The most idiotic thread I've ever seen was on the company E-mail system that started with: "The Internet is to be used for official company business. Downloading pornography is against company policy. Violators will be dealt with severely...." or something close to that. One moron responded using "Reply to all" saying, "obviously, my name has been put this list by mistake. I don't download pornography. Please take my name off this list." Another moron responded (Reply to all) with "Yeah -- me, too. Take my name off this list." The next moron was a little more observant, and said, "Hey, morons - don't Reply to All", which he posted using "Reply to all." This went on all day, slowing down the network until someone at corporate removed or renamed the mail list address that listed everyone so that future replies would fail. Now THAT was a stupid thread!

So, you can't *download* it, but there's no mention of just having it on your screen. :)
What kind of Mickey Mouse company do you work for? Mails sent to ALL should have to be approved by an administrator.

Oooh! Oooh! I have a couple examples of "Mickey Mouse" companies:
Example 1: Well, it happened at the University of California, San Francisco, too -- the Library sent out a big announceement of changes in availability of a subscription-based catalog-update. And they asked for opinions and feedback. They sent it to everyone who subscribed to the service. Fine, right? Well, they cc'd, not bcc'd. The "please don't reply to all" became overwhelming. Came in to 100s of emails from people, replying to all, saying "Please don't reply to all."
And these are supposed to be leading scientists?
Example 2:
Everyone knows, by now, about the Seibold Systems faux pas. This _high_tech_, tryin-to-be-a-competitor-to-Oracle company did the same thing... sending a cc'd, unmasked email-addresses to all (? I think?) of it's clients....
And these are supposed to be technology-industry experts?
Anyway... how did we get to this in a Futurama group?
