By the end of this season, they'll be at the 60-70 episode mark, which isn't enough (usually) for syndication...so if Futurama ends up being cancelled, it could come out in a year or so.

But there's a good chance, if Fox ever gets it's act together, and finds a decent time-slot for the show, it'll go on for another year or so (or hopefully more), hit the 100 episode mark, go into syndication, and then it'll be at least a few years before any DVD hits the market.

Unfortunate either way...

The way I understand it, they'll announce the first DVD to be released at a certain date. This DVD will be full of football games, then they'll release the second DVD, with Futurama episodes, on a date that you're not looking for it. The third DVD will be announced and contain football games, also. The fourth will have the same contents as the second DVD.

This way the can keep up the quality that we Futurama fans have gotten used to.

Well, I can preorder the import version here in Sweden now (Season 1 boxed 3 DVDs). Release 30/1.
