I (almost) hate to ask but:

Why is it that Katey Segal barely gets a mention on the DVD commentaries? Even the mention of here name is conspicuous by its absence... I can recall her being mentioned once in S1 or 2 and thats about it. Whats the story here?

I don't think Lauren Tom (Amy) is mentioned at all in either the S1 or S2 commentaries. I think it's because they tend to stick to the "professional voiceover actors" like Maurice LaMarche (Morbo) and Frank Welker (Nibbler), as they're probably used to working with them. (Then again, Lauren does quite a few voices now - Connie and Minh on "King of the Hill" and Number 3 on "Codename: Kids Next Door" come to mind.)

All good points there, Don. If looked at from that point of view (re: pro voiceover ppl) then the only two that are not professionals (as such) are Lauren and Katey, which happen to be the two that get very little mention.

Yeah... but I dunno, considering the prominent role she plays in the show you'd think there would be much more mention of her? All the other main characters (with the possible exception of Amy) are constantly referred to, whether they are doing the commentary or not.

Perhaps, although he seems to be in all of them... (I know he isn't)... well, it feels that at least :)
