Hi! I took about 30 screenshots from tonight's Futurama episode (1ACV06: A Fishful of Dollars), and I'm planning to post them on the web. I'm hoping to take screenshots from every episode aired from now on. I'd like to offer them to a worthy Futurama website, but since I'm fairly new to the Futurama fan universe, I don't know what sites are out there. I like The Futurama Chronicles and The Futurama Archive, so webmasters of those sites and other good sites please email me at [email]. I may end up just posting them on my own site and letting people link to them.
Please post your thoughts on this; tell me what you want me to do. Most of the time I can capture them on the fly as the show is aired (TV Tuner card for PC w/capture ability), so I can usually get them uploaded the same night, unless I have to tape an episode for some reason. The picture quality seems to be quite good, but I haven't yet scaled them down to JPEG's or GIFs. Any thoughts on the best method to use?
Also, are there legality issues? I'm not using the pictures for my own profit, I'm merely posting them for the pleasure of Futurama fans. I could post a disclaimer stating that Fox posesses the rights to the pictures, etc.
Meanwhile I'll be capturing away, and I may end up doing the same type of thing for The Simpsons.
