Is it true that the upcoming season five will be the last? If it is, I'll really miss the laughs a new episode brings.

They didn't order any new episodes... But that could be a money-saving issue (they have a whole season of unused episodes).

I doubt that's the reason. FOX have hated Futurama since the start.

And even if it were, I read somewhere Matt Groening has given up on the whole idea anyway ... not least because the staff had to find other work while FOX were lolly-gagging.
