Futurama - Australia

Does anyone know when $even are going to show the new series of Futurama!?!

Knowing Channel 7, we'll see it anytime between now and christmas. the way they treat animated shows we'll be lucky if we ever see it. Like Family Guy, they showed one episode, didnt advertise it or anything, and haven't shown another since.

I wish channel 10 would pick up futurama 'cos they'd treat it right, having it back-to-back with the simpsons.

Well, on the end of April Fox 8 are playing the Season 2 final episode. You know the one that they didn't list in the TV guides and is the only one I missed, and I know heaps of other people missed too.

I hope that in May they will be playing season three.. its possible. A bit wishfull, but Fox 8 WILL play season three at some stage, it seems quite possible for them to be doing this in May.

As far as Seven playing Futurama again, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I dunno about blaming Seven and Nein about the non-playing of decent shows. They can only play whats popular, so blame the Australian public for not watching Futurama!

For starters, I guess I was only half joking about the blaming the Australian public thing. Its no their fault they didn't put Futurama in the top watching shows of the year. Its the drugs thats pumped into the water.

Well, from an Aussie point of view, right now there are the following options:-

• Fox 8. Expensive and not entirely available to all of Australia
• Downloading off the net.
• Waiting till Channel 7 bring it back if they do.

I believe Futurama will come back to Oz tv, but its maybe up to us fans to give them a prod, to see that they do, eh!
