NExt weeks preview

was it an allusion to the fact of inflation with the crazy money...or the kid is rich because of compounded interest over 1000 years. like if he had 100$ in the bank. it would go thru mad growth. any ideas?

If 93 cents grows to 4.3 billion dollars (am I remembering those numbers from the preview correctly?) in 1000 years, that means the average interest rate was only 2.3% after taxes.

Of course in real life, any very small bank account will shrink rather than grow, due to bank fees. And even if it didn't, it would be distributed to his heirs or to the state after he was declared dead, which he would be seven years after his disappearance.

Of course, * THEORETICALLY *, his employer would have the delivery address on file, the family would have discovered him, the authorities would assume he voluntarily placed himself in cryo-stasis, his assets would have been locked out from the family, and the account would have been converted to long-term savings/growth (the bank would have been notified of the non-death of Fry)..... we could go on and on and on in a continuous run-on (redundantly redundant?) sentence, but LET'S NOT.

I'm not sure if taped episode requests are welcome here, but I've got to ask somewhere. 1ACV04 (Loves Labors Lost In Space) is one of my favorite episodes. I had it on tape, but the PHILIPS MAGNAVOX remote features the RECORD button right next to the STOP button. So, unfortunately I pressed record instead of stop, and ended up ruining half the episode.
