Futurama and Nethack

Good day, everyone.

I was just wondering how you think a game like Nethack

would evolve by the year 3000(+)

I'm thinking of writing a script where Fry goes searching for this game and finds out that not only is possession illegal but even mentioning the game is punishable by death.

Any input would be appreciated.
