Macintosh-o-rama

Aside from the Mac startup sound made by the trumpet, the Judge computer was obviously a Mac, thus:

Goof-

CTRL-ALT-DEL does *not* work on a Mac, considering that they don't even have ALT Keys!

Perhaps they added ALT keys (and maybe even additional mouse buttons!) sometime during the 1000 years Fry was in suspended animation...

Ctrl+Alt+Del is a common way to restart your computer if properly shutting down(Start>Shut Down>Shut Down) doesn't work(sometimes Win9X hangs & freezes)

Yes, but it only works on PCs, not Macs. If you looked at the screen, it was a blatant Mac GUI.

I noticed that, too. But the people who do the show probably know already. It's just a show and they probably know that people recognize more the Macintosh loading screen. They probably also said to use "ctrl+alt+delete" because they know people realize that that resets a computer (pc's).

The computer reminded of an old episode of 'Star Trek' for some reason, where an ancient computer controlled the fate of an entire planet. It wasn't quite on the same, scale, but it was still pretty damn funny to see the robots using a 1016-year-old computer as a judge. The crash was funny, because it's so true...

Depend on which iteration of mac it is. Anything after the first 2 generation of Mac has similiar 3 key-stroke reboot sequence, just not call ctrl-alt-del.

The 'open apple' key is more properly known as the 'command' key. On the short-lived clones, the key doesn't even feature the little fruit, but only the curlicue. As I've already said, that makes it control-command-reset (aka. start).
