OPENING TITLE: A stern warning of things to come.

SYNOPSIS (Canadian TV Guide): The professor creates an undersea colony after a fishing accident sinks the spaceship. (this is way off!--hl)

REVIEW: A nice change of pace in the sci-fi genre and made use of the whole crew.

GRADE: B++

GOOFS: - why of why couldn't Fry remember the Atlanta Olympics? - while space is a near vacuum, a space ship will stay have to handle high pressure upon re-entry - undersea life mentioned has a high amount of sulphur which is very toxic to normal life. - Jane Fonda and Ted Turner have separated recently

DYN: - Zoidberg whoops like Curly from the Three Stooges? - Hermes using a dark room clock timer? - mermaid's tail is a pretty sly reference to you-know-what?

As they reach 5000 feet below sea level (just after 48-hundred and 50-hundred feet) the professor comments that the pressure is over 150 atmospheres. Fry asks "How many atmospheres can the ship withstand?" to which Professor Farnsworth replies: "Well, it's a spaceship so I'd say anywhere between zero and one."

Two real goofs:

Why does a spaceship have a depth guage marked 500 to 10,000 feet?

Why does a depth guage marked to 10,000 feet break at 7,000 feet?

That wasn't hair... That was a tube-top. And anyway, Fry thinks she was wearing hair extensions.
