Ya. 1ACV03 - I, Roommate: The last joke: Bender wonders why Fry wants to sleep in "The Toilet". Why the hell is this a toilet!?? It does look like a simple, normal room to me. So whats the joke?

I'm not sure about others but to me, the joke of it was: Fry was looking for a room, had tried rooming with Bender (in the cramped quarters he had), then after all the searching finds out the 'room' Bender was using was just the inbetween space of the doors (with Bender saying of the extra space being the 'toilet').

Fry wonders if the little fruit tree will have enough light, bender says " There's a window in the closet " , Fry goes to the " closet " and says " This is huge .. Bender, Why don't I just live here " Then the camera shows bender watching he's bottle, and Bender says " In a closet.. ohh humans "

Not stupid, just more efficient. How much space does a robot need for a place to shut down for the night? The closet that was initially represented as Bender's entire apartment served his needs very well.

Okay... you mistook the clearly spoken word "closet" for "toilet", but on the other hand you _do_ read Adams. Occam's razor says that you're probably a reasonably intelligent person who just needs to try and fix your TV's reception.
