For some reason, episode 3 ("I, Roommate") and 9 ("Hell Is Other Robots") (noticeably also the only episodes in the first season to not start with a cold opening) does not include their title caption on *some* DVDs.

You are probably owning a region 2 or 4 DVD set. It's odd, I know, but that's the way it is.
