I read the comic strip. I don't see much in it to do with Futurama. Shouldn't a parody have some reference to the original work?

No, friends, this is a parody within a framework of an established series with established characters. Compare the first strip of the week to the premise of the series. Contrast our pointless celebrity cameos (in the second strip) to theirs (ongoing) because we got better pointless celebrities than Matt Groening did. Compare _and_ contrast Brisbane's bad habits with Bender's.

(And I bet you thought I was the kind of dude who just left after he had advertised.)

OK, if you wanna be treated like that ... let's talk about an inconsistency. The cat character is shown sometimes wearing a shirt and sometimes not, within the same conversation.

The hedgehog character has never looked like a hedgehog, no matter who the artist. I only know his species because you wrote it out in words.

You belabor the half-jokes, and then have tiresome self-referent asides about how the jokes go on and on.

Some of the artwork is very good (and homoerotic), most is average, but the rest of it looks like a spoof of Hello Kitty.

Just because you have celebrity walk-ons doesn't make your comic a parody of Futurama. You could also be ripping off any Alfred Hitchcock movie.

I take it back. I just read the newest strip. I guess my mirror site was a day behind the original site. Yes, the newest strip has given a surname (and a shirt) to the cat character, and that surname is Fry. He meets a robot and another furry, a female with long bangs who is never shown full-face so you can't see more than one of her eyes at a time.

What ROBOT?? I don't see any ROBOTS. I see a take-off on Leela giving Fry his job assignment. No ROBOT, no other furries. Just "Sophia" as Leela and "Caleb" as Fry, and a glimpse of a dinosaur's head in the final frame. What's up with that?? KuTe, though. :]

There are graphic artists who draw nothing but furry strips. Elf Sternberg hath created a whole world of furries who do naught but have creative and athletic sex with each other across species lines (this is written porno, though, not graphic. Well, actually it is pretty graphic, but thou knowest what I mean <g>. I'll post the URL later).

The children's book and TV series "Animorphs" counteth not as furry, since the characters are normally human.

Kenneth Grahame's book "Wind in the Willows" with the original illustrations is a furry work. (I know Toad isn't a mammal, but the term is generic enough to apply to him).

I went to that furry-sex site or whatever, out of curiousity... it seems like basic porn, but somebody just went through and wrote "paws" everywhere it said "hands".

Anyway, fairly nice stuff, even though a pet peeve of mine is comics laid out so that arrows are needed to show the sequence. Restructure the page until the eyes flow naturally across it instead.
