Wow, this show has really improved over the summer. I vowed to never watch it again, but thought I'd take another look and watch the season premiere. It really seems to have outgrown its awkward phase. It is vastly improved over the shows from last season. The plot was good, the dialogue was good, the jokes were right on target, and the characterizations are becoming more sharply defined. This was a very clever show, very well done. Favorite parts include "Monument Beach", Bender's "third camera", the warning backup beep from the ship as it descended back to the earth, the incredible graphics, the "second coming of Christ", and the spoof of "Ally McBeal".
Quite a good program, IMHO. It's good to see how much it has improved.
