Just thought I'd pop in. I've been lurking around here for the last few weeks, reading posts. I've been a somewhat loyal Futurama fan since the beginning, although I missed almost all of the Season 2 episodes when Fox moved them from Sundays to Tuesdays (not a good night for me). I still rarely get to see the new ones, however I set my vcr to tape them then watch them later.
I sort of lost interest in Futurama soon after it started, mainly because Fox seemed to keep moving the day and time it was on at. My interest in it was rejuventated when I happened across a website that had all the episodes available for download. Now I keep the first 2 seasons on CD at work so I can watch them whenever I want.
Some random thoughts: - I love the way they focus on different characters from time to time, but for the most part the show stays with an ensemble theme. Every character has a certain unique quirk. - Favorite episode(s) so far: Crustacean in Love, Hermes Requisitioned his Groove Back, Series has Landed, When Aliens Attack, Deep South, Brannigan Begin Again, War is the H Word. - Least favorite eps: Cryonic Woman (by FAR), Second that Emotion, A Head in the Polls. - Favorite chars: most of them, but Zoidberg and Kif never fail to make me laugh because they're so pathetic. Amy is probably the only one I could see getting rid of; her constantly ragging on Leela is annoying.
