        it's a Fox doubleheader day, which means most of the Eastern
        and Central time zones won't see it

12/17 - A Tale of Two Santas (3ACV03)
    John Goodman returns as Santa Claus as Fry, Leela, and Bender
    free the elves on Santa's home planet of Neptune, only for Bender
    to have to impersonate Santa to deliver the pressents - and
    convince everybody (like, say, everybody still at Planet Express
    who have pretty much safeguarded the building) that Santa isn't
    evil any more
    *** Let's see which cities are going to get Bender and which ones
        are going to get bent for Christmas:
        (Note only NFL cities are listed - in all other cities, each
        Fox station decides on its own which game to show - and the
        Pacific time zone cities aren't listed as a late game would
        have to last six hours to affect Futurama
        Denver and Phoenix are in parentheses as Futurama starts 4
        hours after the late game begins, so even if a late game is
        shown, it probably won't affect Futurama)

    Note that there is only one late game on Fox (Chicago at San
    Francisco), so Fox can't "switch to another game still in
    progress" when this one ends.

Using clicktv.com I still see Grift of the Magi showing up for 7:00 PM Sunday 12/17. This is in the Pennsylvania area, on at least two different zip codes/FOX stations. I tried a California zip code, and it shows a Simpsons episode for that slot, but doesn't specify which one. I do think clicktv has been wrong before, or at least shown early schedules that were later changed. My best guess now is that FOX originally planned to rerun last year's Simpsons Christmas special in that slot. Then someone told them, wait, there is a Futurama Christmas episode this year. They replied, Futu-whuzzah? Oh, that show. Well, if we *have* to air an episode this weekend....
