Why would a suicide booth need girders?

It doesn't make any sense. Bender bends girders for suicide booths, but the booths are too small to be made of a girders. I don't get it.

Why *wouldn't* a suicide booth need canals for the blood to slurt down after the rotating knives are done?

That was symbolism, comitting suicide(sp) in the very thing he was programmed to help build. And besides, perhaps they are built from small gurders.

Maybe suicide booths of the future require girders? Who can predict what a booth will be like in a thousand years?

Heh. Just watch some of these guys dissect every episode point by point until they almost have *you* convinced that the world portrayed in Futurama actually exists. Not that this sort of thing is unique to a.t.f.- check out the Blade Runner ng`s sometime.

After the knives, etc. were finished, the quick-and-painless disintegrator would turn on, instantly removing all remains.

We didn't see it do that after Fry and Bender left, but probably sensors noted there were no remains to remove.
