No, really! In the season 2 DVD set for ST:TOS, the pop-up commentary for "Amok Time" mentions that the fight music was used in many Star Trek parodies, including "Futurama".

How weird that I don't remember that. I do remember it being played during an astronaut training fight between Homer and Barney in the Simpsons episode "Deep Space Homer" (a scene which has sadly been cut in the syndicated reruns I've seen).

Oh, well, another excuse to rewatch an ep.
