Anyone know what extras will be on the Futurama DVD that's coming out 28 Jan 2002?

Commentaries on all 13(?) episodes. (I thought there were only 9 in S1) 8 deleted scenes Animatics 'and much much more'

Personally, I find that the only _real_ way to categorize the episodes... I mean, if a series was intended to be shown in a certain order (example: The X-Files) then the U.K. broadcasts should all be categorized in different ways seeing as they swapped episodes around very often in the past (not screwing up any arcs too much, just motw episodes) but in all reality they still should be categorised by their production code. I feel the same about the Futurama Series (what's the plural of series? as in collective plural? I can't be bothered to check it up, but I know its pronounced differently, is it also spelt differently?)...

It doesn't matter a Series is the entire life of a show made up of yearly Seasons in the US, and since it's a US show.....

Same way I thought about it first too and that's why I set up my translation table. However, when you consider the fact that a lot of eps that do belong to a certain season are hold back and send in the next season as a season holdover you just can't keep a consistent table of it.

This goes along with the fact that - like with Family Guy - Fox waits a few months until they send the next ep so it is considered to be the next season by us fans.

As well, I think noone has yet found any real inconsistency between the eps being sent in that order they were except some minor goofs that are mentioned in the capsules.

Besides I think that those epcodes used by fox are not very informative themselves ;) Have a look at my airdates/episode code translation table that is ordered by first US airdate, check my sig.

Actually, it will be the 28th of January, as that's a Monday (as in "New Release Mondays") and the 29th is a Tuesday (as in "The Day After New Release Monday").
