    happened if Bender was a giant, Leela was more impulsive, and Fry
    never fell into the cryogenic freezer 1000 years earlier

        maybe Miami, which has a late home game on CBS and so won't
        have a late Fox game

A few notes about "The Honking":

The current year of the show is 3001 - you would think it would be two years after it started.

Apparently, Vladimir was a Robotologist.

One of the tombstones said "The Red LeBaron" (it took me a while to get this one - a reference to both "The Red Baron" and the Chrysler LeBaron).

One of the robots had "Euro TRaSh-80"; the TRS-80 (often called the "Trash-80") was one of the first Radio Shack home computers.

Bender was chased by a "Flying Toaster", the logo of the AfterDark screen saver (something I haven't seen in quite a while - does it even work with Win98 or NT?).

Bender's internal clock went from 11:59:59 to 00:00:00 - clocks with "hour 0" are almost always 24-hour clocks, so it should have said 23:59 just before midnight.

Berkeley Systems have basically released AfterDark, complete with many of its modules, as bargain software (I've seen it for sale at my local Computer City for around $14.99). Don't know about if it works under more modern Windows OSes, but I WILL confirm that the Mac version won't work under Mac OS9 - a shame, as Berkeley based their Simpsons Screensaver around AfterDark.

It'll be interesting if Berkeley is going to say anything about it - I know another software company (Delrina?) got into trouble when their Bill N' Opus screensaver included a module where Opus was shooting down flying toasters.

Additionally, Jefferson Airplane sued Berkeley Systems claiming that the Flying Toaster was actually lifted off of the cover art to their 1973 album 'Thirty Seconds Over Winterland' but as it happens they [Airplane] lost.

And After Dark is incompatable with MacOS 9 (and presumably MacOS X) and Windows 2000 and no updates are planned. Looks like their far more annoying product, 'You Don't Know Jack' is more profitable for them.
